Prolog has been voted winner of the ECMOD 2007 Supplier Award
in the Fulfilment and Response Handling Category.

The Award, which is judged on the basis of client nominations, was presented to Prolog Sales Manager Stephen Cooke at the recent ECMOD Exhibition held in London’s Earls Court in October.

Prolog Logistics role in battle against MRSA 'Superbug'

The National Patient Safety Agency has been using Prolog's nationwide bulk storage, fulfilment and distribution infrastructure to bring a 17-month long MRSA awareness programme to hospital wards throughout England and Wales.


Base London opts for 'flexible' retail logistics.

Fashion footwear and clothing retailer Base London has signed Prolog Logistics to manage its supply chain distribution network serving major UK high street outlets. Ian Cartwright, Base London buyer and merchandising director, said: "We selected Prolog Logistics as our storage and distribution partner because of their flexibility and investment in IT systems, both of which are unrivalled in a competitive marketplace."


Sherwood adds bonded warehousing.

Prolog Logistics has been granted bonded warehouse status for its 132,000 sq ft Phase Three facility at Sherwood Park in the East Midlands. The move opens the way for Prolog in key areas of retail logistics, including wetstock.


CILT Open Evening hits the spot.

Prolog's first Open Evening for members of the Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport (CILT) was a roaring success. Held at Sherwood Park in April the event put the spotlight on the advantages of scalable, flexible logistics operations coupled with totally integrated contact centre support.


Lloyd Shoe signs Prolog Logistics for UK retail distribution.

Prolog Logistics has been appointed by Lloyd Shoe to handle distribution to 800 high street retail outlets. Prolog will be handling an estimated 3.5 million pairs of footwear a year as part of a contract covering pick-pack, quality control, carrier labelling, returns handling and the provision of a dedicated client office.
