Versatility drives this demanding account: Variable data processing, fast-response lettershop production, skilled packers who turn their hands to anything, and vigilant resourceful account management. RAC Prospect
RAC Prospect mailing packs come in 89 versions and there are 68 separate letter/application texts, each with complex variable data. But that's not all: Any one pack can have up to seven or more inserts! Prolog receives daily data refreshes, each with up to 500 new address records to be processed. Yet the letters are printed, and the packs despatched in 24 hours. At peaks, these volumes can double. Each year, hundreds of motorists join as a direct result of having received their recruitment pack, so RAC needs a mailing house with the capacity to deliver. RAC Welcome and Maintenance
A caring organisation needs to welcome its new members. And it must keep details of existing subscribers up to date when they change address or upgrade their membership tier. On average, 3,500 Welcome and
Maintenance packs are fulfiled daily at Prolog and that requires more than 5,000 new membership cards to be overprinted. Like Prospect, Welcome and Maintenance is highly variable: Prolog maintains 53 lettertexts with complex variable data and there are 101 packs to cater for, each containing up to ten items. In addition there can be as many as five cards per pack. Prolog generates 25,000 RAC cards a week in its print shop.
RAC Fleet
By outsourcing its fleet mailings, RAC entrusts some of its best customers to Prolog's care. There are three pack types for Fleet. The entire content is variable and driven by different fields within the data. Any one company could ask for hundreds of individual cards.
Once again Prolog's flexible, integrated production, collation and mailing capacity makes light work of a 48-hour turnaround - an advantage that has not been missed by RAC which has awarded Prolog its ad hoc fleet mailing business and the pre-collation of up to 100,000 fleet customers handbooks used for daily fulfilment.
